About the College

Nipissing University College was formed in 1967 as an affiliate of Laurentian University and is located in Ontario, Canada. Known for its small class sizes and the state-of-the-art research opportunities on offer, Nipissing offers professional studies in nursing, business, commerce, criminal justice, and social work. With four distinct nursing programs that are highly sought after by state and international students, Nipissing is the most nursing intensive university in the country. Students are taught to think independently rather than study by rote, and learn critical problem-solving skills that stand them in good stead in the world of work. Graduate students can avail of funding from internal as well as external sources, which will help to pay for part of the tuition and allied expenses. The academic environment has a sharp focus on student success, which has led to top rankings in the country in the areas of student support and student experience, among other prerogatives. Graduates from Nipissing are known to make a positive impact on the society around them, and play leading roles in institutions around the world!
