Algoma University was founded in 1965, and is the smallest undergraduate-only university in Ontario. Set up with a special mission; that of providing cross-cultural learning between Indigenous communities and other communities in Northern Ontario, the college today offers academic programs that span the humanities, social sciences and sciences.
