The Master of Health Management delivers the learning material and knowledge for students to develop the core knowledge and skills essential for healthcare managers in a range of public, private and non-government organisations where services for health and social care are designed, delivered and evaluated.

The Master of Health Management delivers the learning material and knowledge for students to develop the core knowledge and skills essential for healthcare managers in a range of public, private and non-government organisations where services for health and social care are designed, delivered and evaluated.
This comprises but is not limited to hospital and community settings, the aged care sector, government departments, private practice and small business. The course is delivered in a variety of modes including online in full or part-time modes for flexibility to balance life, work and study depending on your previous qualifications. Students will finish their study program with a capstone unit in which they strengthen their theoretical learning of health management with a ‘real world’ action research project.

Entry Criteria
You must meet English language requirements for admission to UNE. These requirements apply regardless of where or how you plan to study. It’s important that you can read, write and speak English well because this will help you succeed at university in Australia. If English isn’t your first language, you can demonstrate your skills by passing an approved English language test. Or, if you have studied in an English-speaking country, you can show UNE proof of satisfactory course completion. You must have studied for at least one year full-time in the last five years to meet this requirement. Your teacher must also have instructed the class in English. Alternatively, you can show that you got a passing grade or better in an English language subject at Australian Year 12 level. UNE will also accept an overseas equivalent subject.
